My wife and I attended the Tri-Cities Rabbit Association show held in Kennewick, Washington. It was
a double show. We entered four Blanc de Hotot in both shows.
In show A Junior Buck 8B05 was BOS, and in show B
won BOB; however, in Show B were not enough to win a Leg.
Junior Doe 8D10 was 2nd in her class in show A, and
in show B was BOS.
Junior Doe 8D09 was 4th in her class in show A, and was 2nd in her class in show B.
Junior
Doe 8D08 was disqualified in both shows for wrong eye color - was a light brown instead of dark brown (she has gone
to packing house). |

My wife and I attended the Yakima Valley Rabbit Breeders Association show held in Yakima, Washington.
` It was a double show. We entered three Blanc de Hotot in both shows.
Junior Buck 8B05 won BOB in both shows.
Margaret from Everett brought over a couple of does; therefore, 8B05 won 2 Legs. Margarets Intermediate Doe
was BOS in both shows.
Junior doe 8D10 was 1st in her class in Show A, and 2nd in her class in show B.
Junior Doe 8D09 was 2nd in her class in Show A, and 1st in her class in Show B. Judge in show B said that if her fur
was in better condition (her sister had done some serious chewing), she would have been BOB. |
| June 27 & 28, 2009 |
There was a very good showing of Blanc de Hotot at Washington State Convention. 24 entered on Saturday (6/27)
and 17 on Sunday (6/28). On Saturday our intermediate buck 8B05 was BOS and on Sunday he was BOB. This now gives him
4 legs for Grand Champion!
On Sunday one of the does we imported from Germany 29118 was BOS.
We also had two intermediate
does 8D09 and 8D10, and a junior doe 9D02 along with two more imports from Germany junior buck 1929 and junior doe 1931.
Weather was not too bad just a little on the warm side. The rabbits appeared to stand it OK.

| Next Show we are attending (for sure) is GNWRCSG in Monroe on July 18, 2009 |
