Mini Satin Pictures	Miniture (Mini) Satin is a 4 class breed. Senior six months of age or older with both bucks and does weighing 3 1/4 to 4 3/4 with an ideal weight of 4 pounds. Juniors under six months of age. Minimum weight of 2 pounds and maximum weight of 3 3/4 pounds. Mini Satin is recognized by ARBA is Chinchilla, Red, Opal, White, and Siamese varieties. There are other varieties currently being developed - Black, Blue, Blue Siamese, Broken, Californian, Chocolate, Chocolate Agouti, Copper, Gold Tipped Steel, Lilac, Otter (Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac), Silver Marten (Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac), Smoke Pearl, Squirrel (Blue Chinchilla), Tan Group (Black, Blue, Chocolate, Lilac). At 2009 ARBA Convention in San Diego we purchased a trio of Copper Mini Satin from Randy Shumaker. He was making his last presentation of the variety with the expectation they would pass and become a racognized variety. Unfortunately one of the animals broke a tooth and the presentation failed. Another breeder took up the Certificate of Development (COD) and begins the process of presenting the variety at the 2012 ARBA Convention.
